Las Cruces, New Mexico (KRQE) – A public health order in New Mexico by COVID-19 has put the practice of the men’s basketball team at New Mexico State University on hold. The men’s basketball program did something about that Tuesday. They packed up and moved to Phoenix, Arizona for at least the next five weeks.

Mario Mottia, NMSU Athletic Director, said: Aggie’s is home to Arizona Grand Resort. The resort has everything Aggies needs, from weights to basketball courts. The resort has put together a package of Aggies that includes a free COVID-19 test as part of the transaction.
