Fort Carson, Colorado – The Fort Carson and Army Volunteer Program will host Fort Carson’s 25th Annual Make a Difference Day from 8am to noon on Saturday, October 23rd.

Volunteers in the area will collaborate on four major projects throughout the installation for beautification and maintenance.

This year’s MADD locations include Family Bureau, Morale, Welfare, Recreation and Sports Complex Facilities, Iron Horse Park and Dog Park, Military Residential Areas and Rainwater Drainage Pipes, and Fountain-Fort Carson District 8 Schools.

Volunteers should bring work shoes or sturdy shoes, a water bottle, and work gloves. Bring a rake, shovel, other gardening equipment, and gardening equipment.

Participants must be at least 14 years old. Families with younger children are welcome, but are responsible for monitoring their children.

Breakfast is served and members of the Knights of Columbus, Fort Carson, serve lunch to conclude the event.

All volunteers will receive a certificate of participation and soldier volunteers will receive a certificate of achievement.
