In Colorado, anyone over the age of 16 is eligible for vaccination, but university officials expect some exemptions.
“Let’s say a student is allergic to one of the components of the vaccine. It just needs a doctor’s signature that the vaccine is allergic.”
Students may also be exempt for religious purposes. For faculty and staff, vaccines are not required, but are encouraged. We’ll talk more about that.

Fort Lewis College serves the majority of Native American students, many of whom are already vaccinated. College officials want most students to be vaccinated by the fall for a more traditional college experience.
