Colorado Springs — On Saturday, July 31, four people were arrested during a “house march” demonstration and charged with blocking traffic and interfering.
Colorado Springs police say they spoke to protesters before a demonstration of peaceful protests.
According to police, the demonstrators moved to the street and police officers gave them some warnings to leave. Police said a part of Nevada Street had to be temporarily blocked for the safety of the demonstrators. The police then arrested four people.
Officials said they would stay downtown at the Colorado Springs 150th Anniversary Festival.
