Four bodies, two dead dogs discovered in Ingleside RV – Riverside, California

Aranzas Pass Police and the San Patricio County Sheriff’s Office found four bodies in the RV on Wednesday while investigating threats and graphic images shared by local teens.

According to a news release, officials received information that a 15-year-old boy posted a photo of his dead family on social media and threatened to continue violence at a local school.

The boy, identified as William Quince Colburn III, posted a photo on Discord, a messaging app.

Ingleside Police, Sheriff’s Office, and Aranthus Pass Police have placed the RV where the suspect lived at the Aranthus Oaks RV Resort in Ingleside.

The suspect refused to leave the house, and police officers heard a single gunshot and the sound of a person falling to the ground, Release said. Upon entry, the officer found four bodies and two dead dogs.

Victims were identified as 63-year-old William Colburn Jr., 53-year-old Janna Colburn, and 13-year-old Emma Colburn.

Police said there was no ongoing threat to local students and staff.

Alan Suspas ISD said the suspect was not enrolled in school.

“Our heart is directed to families suffering from the tragic loss of some families in our community late last night,” the district said in a post.

On Thursday morning, Ingleside ISD said the district was not under any threat.

“Finally, but more importantly, we thank the social media website and the other boys in the group where the threat was created,” the release said. “Without their swift action and continued support, we might have been working on an even more tragic event later this morning.”
