Nashville, Tennessee (WTVF) —Four teenagers were arrested and charged after being involved in multiple robbery and carjacking on Wednesday night, Metro Nashville police said.
MNPD was investigating a carjacking that occurred in 500 blocks of Harding Place when a robbery was reported that matched the suspect’s description. The robbery took place on 200 Paragon Road.
Vehicles stolen from Harding Place (Hyundai Accent in 2010) were tracked to Blackman Drive near Edmonson Pike. There, the detective found Accent traveling with a silver Ford Mustang, who was reportedly stolen from Whispering Hills Drive earlier that night.
MNPD and helicopters from the Tennessee Highway Patrol chased the stolen car to the gas stations at Norensville Pike and Elysian Fields Road. After that, both cars split off the area of the gas station.
Spike strips were used on Elysian Fields Road near Dumbie Drive to stop the accent. The car driver, a 17-year-old and his 16-year-old female passenger, were both arrested. The 17-year-old boy was charged with four robbery charges. The 16-year-old boy, who was also charged with robbery, had an arrest warrant.
The Mustang was unloaded in the same area as the Dunby Drive Accent. Then the stolen and loaded pistols were recovered.
The stolen AR-15 rifle was also found in witness reports of seeing it thrown out of Mustang’s window. The rifle was stolen in a burglary in Hermitage.
We found more than 54 grams of marijuana in the accent floorboards.
Mustang driver Demarion Larosa, 18, was charged with two counts of carjacking, three counts that contributed to the misconduct of minors, the possession of felony weapons, and the possession of controlled substances.
A 15-year-old male passenger in La Rosa was charged with four robbers and two pistol boys.
