Fresno State football head coach Kalen DeBoer leaving for University of Washington – Fresno, California

Fresno, CA (KFSN)-Head coach Kalen DeBoer will leave the Fresno State University football program as head coach two seasons later.

DeBoer leaves the program for the position of head coach of the University of Washington Huskies football team.

For the rest of the season, Lee Marks was appointed as Bulldog’s interim head coach.

Devoa led the Bulldog to Season 9-3 with a notable victory over UCLA and San Diego. His relatively successful tenure as a bulldog coach has attracted attention from teams across the country.

DeBoer at ABC30’s weekly chat on Sunday Dealing with rumors,say it:

“No doubt (Fresno) is a special place for me and my family had a really great time. I want to spend more time.”

Bulldogs are currently waiting to hear which bowl game to play and who to play against.

The University of Washington Huskies are in the 4-8 season and were not eligible for the bowl game. Husky is part of the PAC-12 North Division of Cal (UC Berkeley), Oregon, Oregon, Stanford, and Washington.
