Fresno’s Hmong community reacts to Sunisa Lee winning gold medal – Fresno, California

Fresno, CA (KFSN)-The United States, especially the Hmong community, is celebrating one of Team USA’s latest gold medals.

US gymnast Sunisa Lee won the gymnastics gold medal on Thursday.

The 18-year-old Hmong is the first Hmong to participate in the Olympic Games of Team USA, let alone win the championship.

Action News told members of the Fresnomon Chamber of Commerce about what this victory meant for their community.
