Friends and colleagues mourn a professor at Dean of George Washington University who was killed Wednesday A flame erupted in his house in northeastern DC..
“He was a wonderful, kind and giver,” said Christina Garcia.
She and her husband, Felix, silently prayed on Thursday at a small flower and photo monument in front of Paul Chudy’s house.
“He was a Vietnamese veteran. He was an educator. He was a kind person,” Garcia said.
“”I still don’t believe he’s gone, “said Felix Perez. “It’s hard, it’s hard to understand. It’s hard to understand.”
Garcia met Tschudi at Dean of George Washington University in 1986 and was a faculty member of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He also taught a course on how to deal with sadness and loss.
Anthony White met Chudy at Golden Week 20 years ago.
“We were connected and from there our relationships and friendships grew,” he said.
A spokesperson for Dean of George Washington University said in a written statement: This was his passion for life and he was honored to do this work in college. He was a compassionate, kind and generous colleague and a heartfelt friend. “
“I love him, and he will be my eternal best friend,” Garcia said.
