Jacksonville, Florida (CW44 News At 10) – Florida Man was charged with fleeing federal detention on Friday, May 28, 2021.

Keystone Heights’ Derrick S. McCullough, 31, was charged with fleeing federal detention. If convicted, McCullough reports that he will face up to five years’ imprisonment in federal prison.

According to the indictment, on March 29, 2021, McCullough escaped detention at the Keaton Collection Residential Reentry Center, a home in the middle of Jacksonville, Florida.

McCullough was detained in Keaton while subjecting to the final part of a federal conviction of possessing a firearm as a convicted serious offender.
