An autopsy of the remains found in a park in Wyoming was scheduled for Tuesday. Teton County coroners have determined death to be a murder, but the cause of death is awaiting final consequences, Tweet said.

The body was found in Grand Teton National Park.

Confirmation officially ends Petito’s nearly two-week search after her boyfriend, Brian Laundry, returns alone from their cross-country trip.Laundry was ruled as a person interested in Petit’s disappearance Before he disappeared last week..

Petito was last seen on a social media video on August 25th, and the last text she sent was August 30th, but she Family is skeptical Whether she actually wrote the text herself.

Tuesday, A spokesman for the Petit family said They will make a statement “when Gabby is at home.”

The answer in this case has proven to be elusive so far, and former FBI agents say it will be difficult to get an answer unless the laundromat comes forward.

“In reality, I don’t even know if (police) talked to him or where he was,” former FBI agent Patrick Conley said in a “NewsNation Prime” Monday. “It’s unclear if he’s ever been to his home. It’s just speculation on all aspects of this.”

Investigators are searching the Carlton Reserve, a 24,000-acre forest area near Laundry’s parents’ home. Brian Laundry and Petit lived there before the road trip.

Laundrie and Petito interacted with the police at least once on the trip. On August 12, someone reported domestic violence involving a couple. Laundry told police that Petit had hit him, but the 911 phone call from the same day seemed to contradict the story.

Some of the calls are:

  • Sender: “We are driving and would like to report a domestic dispute.”
  • Express: “What were they doing?”
  • Sender: “Um … we passed by and the gentleman slapped the girl.”
  • Express: “Did he slap her?”
  • Sender: “Yes, then we stopped. They ran up and down the sidewalk. He hit her, jumped into the car, and they ran away.”

Officers suggested that the couple spend the night away and did not arrest the laundromat or Petit.

According to police, on September 1, Laundry returned to his parents’ home without Petit. She was reported missing on September 10.

September 19 The day when Petit’s body was discovered, Her father, Joseph Petit, tweeted, “She touched the world 💔 # GABBY PETITO.”
