Pittsburgh (KDKA) -Gasoline prices in western Pennsylvania fell as AAA said the national average had fallen for the first time in months.
Average gasoline prices in western Pennsylvania have fallen from $ 3.036 last week to $ 3.010, according to AAA. At this point last year, it was $ 2.229.
The national average by AAA is $ 2.86, the first weekly decline since November.
This decline is due to higher gas inventory levels and lower oil prices. AAA says it hopes to keep pump prices down.
Ships left behind on the Suez Canal have affected crude oil prices, according to AAA, but will have only limited impact in the United States.
