GWINNETT CO (CBS46)-The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has announced that a man in Gwinnett County has been arrested in connection with possession of child pornography.
A GBI spokesperson said the agent received a hint from the National Center for Missing and Exploiting Children (NCMEC) about online images depicting material on child sexual abuse.
As a result of the hint, the agent obtained a search warrant and searched for a home owned by Travis Clark, 24, in Lawrenceville.
During the investigation, a GBI spokesperson said the agent found “content depicting the sexual exploitation of children” in Clark’s house.
The agent arrested Clark, who was booked in a prison in Gwinnett County for five charges of sexual exploitation of a child.
A GBI spokesperson said, “This study continues to identify people involved in child pornography transactions by the Internet Crime vs. Children (ICAC) Task Force within the GBI Child Exploitation and Computer Crime Unit. It’s part of our efforts. “
