SHANGHAI / TAIPEI — China’s Zhejiang Geely Holding Group states that China and Foxconn are in talks to provide outsourced manufacturing services. Electric car Maker Faraday Future.
In a statement, Geely said he had signed a framework agreement to provide Faraday Future with technical and engineering support and became a minority investor in Faraday Future’s listing.
Foxconn declined to comment on the manufacturing partnership.
Reuters reported on Monday that Faraday Future plans to set up a new location in China and ask Geely for outsourced manufacturing services.
The merger with Property Solutions Acquisition Corporation will open Faraday Future in a transaction valuing the merged entity at $ 3.4 billion.
