Georgetown and Lexington police seek public help in assaulting children – Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky

Georgetown, Kentucky (LEX 18) — Georgetown Police Station and Lexington Metro Police Station seek civilian help in a shooting attack on a five-year-old boy.

On March 27, Georgetown Police Deparmtnet investigated reports of bullets fired at Overlook at Elkhorn Creek Apartments. The shot was fired from an apartment at 206 River Chase Path # 10 and the round went into the next apartment.

Residents of the apartment left before the police arrived at the scene. Detectives were called in to help with the investigation, resulting in the seizure of a significant amount of marijuana and some weapons.

Detectives continued this investigation with Lexington Metro police and the ATF, linking firearms to shooting at Lexington. During the shooting, an innocent five-year-old child was attacked by a round shot at the house where the child was sleeping.
