The whistleblower, who used the pseudonym “Jane” in court, claimed that Maxwell had pulled her into Jeffrey Epstein’s looting trajectory at the age of 14.

Maxwell, 59, the daughter of the late British spokesman Robert Maxwell, was arrested in July 2020 in a luxurious New Hampshire mansion. She pleaded not guilty in all respects.

Prosecutors claim that Maxwell was Epstein’s “best friend and right arm.”

“Have you ever had sexual contact with Jeffrey Epstein in your life?” Prosecutor Allison Moe asked Jane when the testimony began on Tuesday. She said so. Moe asked the age at which the abuse began.

“More than once.”

“Is there anyone else in the room?”

“Yes,” Jane replied.

“Who was most often in the room when you had sexual contact with Jeffrey Epstein at the age of 14?”

“Ghislaine Maxwell,” Jane replied.

Jane’s direct testimony ended at the end of Tuesday, the second day of trial testimony. However, Maxwell’s lawyer will continue to interrogate Wednesday morning, and prosecutors are likely to ask Jane afterwards.

The trial will continue.
