Giant Eagle recalls apple slices, PB packs due to Jif – Cleveland, Ohio

Columbus, Ohio (WCMH) — Giant Eagle Inc. voluntarily recall A package of apple slices and peanut butter sold at the company’s GetGo store, including shops in Ohio.

In a notice issued Monday, the Giant Eagle stated that the recall was due to possible Salmonella contamination associated with a recent recall. Ziff peanut butter Products nationwide.

The recalled product will be available at the GetGo location until May 13th and will expire on May 29th. The UPC code for the product is 30034937706.

The Giant Eagle said there were no reports of item-related illnesses.

The Apple Package contains zip peanut butter, which is subject to its national recall.

Customers are advised to dispose of the product or return it to the nearest GetGo store with a receipt.
