San Francisco (AP) —Last year, San Francisco Giants minor leaguer Drew Robinson, who survived a suicide attempt, announced that he would retire and join the club’s front office as a mental health advocate.

Baseball business Giants president Farhan Zaidi said Friday that the organization has yet to finalize the details of Robinson’s position.

Native Las Vegan posted on Twitter that he will be playing the final match of Triple A Sacramento this weekend, providing a long farewell note.

He said he would like to use his experience to help others tackle their emotional well-being.
