Washington (AP) — The US Government’s Highway Safety Agency has approved General Motors’ request to recall four 2021 vehicles due to an airbag warning light failure.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Agency said on Friday that the cars in question would include the Buick Envision, Cadillac CT4 and CT5, Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Corvette, Suburban and Tahoe, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL.
The government said that 285,622 vehicles were affected by software-related issues, which could lead to unstable airbag lights and prevent drivers from being notified of the actual issue.
