Greenville, South Carolina (WSPA) – Community members gathered on Sunday to install a lighting display outside the Greenville Children’s Hospital, cheering for hope and holidays.
People appeared outside the Prisma Health Children’s Hospital, illuminating flashlights and car headlights outside the hospital, and illuminating the windows when the children answered with their flashlights.
Some participants decorated their cars to spread the spirit of the holidays.
“This is a great event for the community to come out and tell the kids upstairs.” We know you are there. [and] We know that you and your family are experiencing an incredible journey of health, and we want you to know what we care about. ”
The same event was held on Sunday at a children’s hospital in Columbia, South Carolina, attended by local first responders.
Community members can also provide support through the Spirit of Giving campaign. You can know in detail, click here.
