Greenville County, South Carolina – Goodwill Industries, Upstate / Midlands, South Carolina, has announced a new program, called Youth Build, Greenville County, published by the Ministry of Labor.
YouthBuild is a pre-training program that includes education, skills training, leadership development, and post-program placement opportunities for young people at risk.
Nonprofits provide project-based academic learning opportunities for adolescents and young adults aged 17 to 24 to pursue educational goals and prepare for their careers.
The program also addresses several key issues that are important to young people in low-income communities. This includes affordable housing, leadership development, education, employment opportunities in demanding industries, and apprenticeship paths.
YouthBuild is a community-based alternative education program for young people who have dropped out of high school, with arbitrage young people, aging from foster care, disabled young people, young immigrant farmers, and other disadvantages. There are other risk factors, such as young people in a position.
The program includes GED and construction, workplace and safety training sponsorship, one-on-one case management, hands-on building / refurbishment opportunities, life skills and mental toughness workshops, job search and resume support. We provide services such as.
