In addition, Kelly led a roundtable meeting between teachers and administrative staff to discuss the best ways to get children back to school quickly and safely.

“Teachers and parents have stepped up in unimaginable situations,” said Governor Laura Kelly. “Now it’s our job to get teachers to get vaccinated quickly to get their children back into the classroom safely.”

Next week, Kansas will complete all vaccinations desired by educators and staff from kindergarten to high school. This achievement has enabled Kansas to be fully vaccinated by teachers by the week of March 22, 2021.
