The message was clearly undeciphered as Allen hit another 3 pointer and added a layup over a 16 second span. Anderson stole the ball and threw it out of the glass, setting Morant to a ferocious dunk, leaving 4:52 to 96-75 and signaling McMillan another time-out.

In the second half of Stanza, Morant and Brooks knocked down three back-to-back pointers, increasing the lead to 109-83 with two minutes remaining.

Memphis led 110-87 in the final quarter, while the Hawks moved within 123-106 in Bogdanovich’s three-point play with 5:07 remaining.
