Dellwood, Missouri (KMOV.com)-The groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday marked the beginning of a $ 16 million investment in Dellwood.
The Refuge and Restoration Church has taken over the land of West Florisant, which has been vacant for over 15 years. This spot will be a community resource center with an infant center, workforce development, health center, banks and church.
“Beyond the physical changes that occur here, I really thought of an end-of-day example of being an ordinary person like Beverly and someone I want to change my life with.” Said Ken Jenkins, a minister of evacuation and recovery.
The 90,000 square foot space is expected to reach more than 250 children, about 800 unemployed, and 3,000 unbanked or unbanked individuals.
