NS. Louis County (KMOV.com)-The principal of Melville High School informed the students’ families and staff on Wednesday about the students who posted pictures of their pistols online.
The student was not allowed on campus on Wednesday, according to a statement by Jason Landherr, principal of Mehlville High School. According to a statement, the administrator believed that another student might have a pistol and recovered the pistol on Wednesday morning.
The gun was dropped, but there was a bullet associated with it.
According to a school statement, the school is unaware of any particular threat to anyone in the school. The statement added that the St. Louis County Police had been notified.
“I understand this is a very worrying situation for our school community,” Landherr said in a statement. “School safety is paramount to us and we continue to address all concerns that draw our attention. Whenever this happens, we are a school resource officer and St. Louis. Work closely with the county police to ensure safety of all students and staff
