“There are shattered glass everywhere,” said Morgas Baca. “It’s really very dangerous because you can hear the glass still shattering and falling all over the atrium.”
Albuquerque police and Bernarillo County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the shooting. Morgas Baca said Tuesday morning that investigators had obtained “camera footage” related to the shooting.
“I’m guessing it came from the Sims (building) parking lot on the top floor,” said Morgas Fool. “I think there were about 20 shots.”
The county says more than 800 employees, who usually work in Alvarado Square, will continue to work remotely. No one was injured by the shooting.
