Haynes City, Florida — Haynes City will hold a job fair for local government jobs on Wednesday, July 28th. The city currently has openings in the fire, police, park and recreation departments.
“Haines City is a place where individuals can develop their careers, develop new skills and become leaders in their field,” said Auburn Taylor, Director of Human Resources Development and Organization Development. “It’s exciting to be able to attract applicants with different backgrounds and work experience who want to turn our city in a positive direction for the foreseeable future.”
The job fair is held at the Lake Eva Event Center on 799 John’s Avenue in Haynes City. It is divided into three sessions where participants can learn additional information, fill out application forms and conduct job interviews.
- Session A: 9am to 11am
- Session B: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
- Session C: 6 pm to 8 pm
Representatives from all vacant city departments will attend each of the three sessions.
“Our diverse cities are growing and prospering, and good staff is one of the biggest reasons,” said interim city manager Jim Ellensky. “We are blessed with working with so many dedicated and talented individuals and we are excited to meet new potential employees who fit that pattern at our job fairs.”
