Colorado Springs, Colorado — Flash floods continue to be reported in Colorado Springs, so the Colorado Springs Fire Department warns drivers not to drive in rush water.
The warning is issued after the fire department rescues an abandoned vehicle trapped in a barrier due to rushing water.
El Paso County is currently receiving a serious flash flood warning that goes into effect until 7:30 pm.
According to the National Meteorological Service of Pueblo, it rained 0.5-1.3 inches. Street floods have been observed in Fountain Circles and Circles in southern Colorado Springs.
