“The Hans Rosling Center for Population Health design is inspired by the Population Health Initiative itself, including population health and wellness, carbon dioxide emissions, water conservation, and material toxicity. Building projects are also many sustainable, including reuse for cleaning rainwater catchment areas and bathroom fixtures, improved ventilation to improve indoor air quality, and heat recovery from West Campus utility plants for heating. Obtained LEED Gold certification through a unique building system. Efficient radiant heating and cooling made possible by high performance window and wall assembly.
