Hartsville, South Carolina (WBTW)-Hartsville police said a man who called 911 to report fraud after the drug trade he tried to make through the app did not take place.

Police said the man asked for reports of fraud after trying to buy marijuana through Cash App. Twenty seconds after calling 911, the man called back and said, “I don’t want to change my mind and talk to the police,” according to Lieutenant Mark Blair of the Hartsville Police Department.

“Damcrook News: If you try to buy marijuana on Cash App and the deal doesn’t work, don’t call 911 to report the scam,” said the Hartsville Police Department.

No one was arrested in the case.
