Honolulu (KHON2) —Hawaii Health Harm Mitigation Center (HHHRC) has debuted an online “Auction For A Cause” event aimed at increasing support for the organization’s ongoing programs. The event will run until November 23rd.

Auction items include autographed guitars from the famous rock band Green Day, Ritz-Carlton Weekend Package, Tiffany Necklaces, local artwork, and Jimbo the Drag Clown’s personal performance.
HHHRC usually states that it will host community gatherings in Hawaii to reduce harm, promote health, build health and raise awareness of the organization’s mission to fight stigma, but this year in a pandemic. We have decided that some events will be virtualized to promote safety.
Andrew Ogata, HHHRC Event Manager, said: “We are very grateful for the level of support we received from the community in putting this auction together.” We look at the rest of the state what we have to offer. The center provides HIV and hepatitis C testing and behavioral medical services at the Kakaako Clinic. In addition to being deeply involved in the community, the organization also provides street-based wound care to unprotected people in Honolulu.
