Honolulu (KHON2) —The Ministry of Health of Hawaii reported 485 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, July 31, with no new deaths.

315 cases have been diagnosed on Oahu, 101 cases on the Big Island, 9 cases on Kauai, 42 cases on Maui, and 18 cases outside the state.

This brings the total state to 42,410.

The state has killed 537 people.

The state accounts for 60.1% of the vaccinated population.

The detailed breakdown is as follows.

  • Hawaii County: 4,051 (101)
  • Honolulu: 30,721 (315)
  • Coweye: 548 (9)
  • Maui: 5,125 (42)
  • Lanai: 117
  • Molokai: 81
  • Pending / Unknown: 0
  • HI residents diagnosed other than HI: 1,767 (18)
  • Required hospitalization: 2,708 (14)
  • Death: 537
  • Cases in the last 14 days: 2,996
