However, the caller also informed authorities that the man involved in the incident had left the area and was armed with a gun.
Police eventually found a vehicle and a wanted man as a short vehicle chase that ended in a collision at the intersection of Galleria Drive and Boulder Highway continued.
According to officials, the shot was fired as a driver and later identified as David Flores Jr., who left his car and moved towards the other cars involved in the collision.

Flores pointed his gun at the man who called the police at the beginning of the whole situation and told him to get in the car. The man ran away from Flores’ car when he stopped at a Circle K gas station.
Patrol officers tried to pull Flores, but he refused to stop, lost control of the vehicle, and speeded up until a crash occurred on Galleria Drive and Boulder Highway.
Henderson police say police officers shouted orders to Flores, but before police officers fired and attacked Flores, he ignored them and headed for the other vehicles involved in the collision.
Officials say Flores is expected to survive and face six indictments in the case.
This was the fifth shooting in 2020 involving Henderson city police officers so far.
