Denver (KDVR) —New research provides new insights into how rising inflation-related costs are impacting Colorado.
The biggest growth focuses on one of them: the number of Coloradans experiencing “mild to moderate” difficulties to meet their costs.
The new numbers show that about 42% of Coloradans fall into that group, while 10% are “very difficult times” and 52% are “no difficulty” at all.
Further classification of the Quote Wizard data into the “Very Difficult” category shows that the two largest age groups with an increase in Colorado are 18-24 years and 65 years and older.
“Inflation is 6%. It doesn’t seem like much, but I think it really shows that small changes in prices can have a big impact, relatively speaking. Really lives in the margins, “said Nick Vin Zant of the Quote Wizard.
Since June, the only age group in our state that has seen a decline in the “very difficult” category is the millennials aged 25-39.
