At a regular meeting on Tuesday, the city council signed a $ 3.7 million construction contract with Synthon-based J. Carroll Weaver for the project.
Work is expected to last 13 months.
Corpus Christi ISD spokesman Lindal Gaswright said Wednesday’s school district officials did not yet have parents for the project, but would do so once they received details of the construction schedule.
Construction includes new asphalt pavement, curbs and gutters, driveways, improved pedestrians in compliance with American law with disabilities, pavement markings, signs, streetlight enhancements, and utility upgrades for water, wastewater, and rainwater systems. included. The project will be funded from 2018 public debt and stormwater, sewage, water and gas funding included in the 2021 fiscal year budget.
