Beirut (AP) — Lebanese Hezbollah leader said on Sunday that his group now has twice as many precision-guided missiles as it did a year ago, and efforts to prevent Israel from acquiring missiles have failed. Said.

Hassan Nasrallah said in a year-end interview with Beirut-based Al-Mayadeen TV that his group was capable of striking anywhere in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories.

Mr Nasrara said his group warned against such attacks when Israel threatened to target the Hezbollah facility in the Bekar region of eastern Lebanon through US authorities.

Israel has expressed concern in recent months that Hezbollah is trying to set up a production facility to manufacture precision-guided missiles.

In a four-hour interview, Mr. Nasrara said there were many unfamiliar issues related to his group because Israel was in a “very close circle.”

Mr Nasrara also said that the last few weeks of US President Donald Trump’s administration are important and must be treated with caution. He called Trump “angry” and “crazy.”

Iran-backed Hezbollah was Israel’s sworn enemy, and there was a series of conflicts, including a full-scale war in 2006.

Nasrara has repeatedly vowed that Iran and its allies will retaliate for the US killing of General Kasim Soleimani, commander of the Elite Iran Revolutionary Guard Corps, in a drone strike in Iraq a year ago.

“The revenge will come no matter how long it takes,” he told Armaya Dean TV, sitting with a picture of Solei Mani on the left.

Nasrara also vowed to retaliate for Israel’s killing of a Hezbollah fighter in Syria earlier this year.

President Nasrara addressed President Joe Biden of the upcoming US administration, stating that Iran would not negotiate with the United States or discuss regional conflicts on behalf of its allies. He said Tehran would only discuss with Washington about Iran’s nuclear deal withdrawn by Trump.
