Virginia Beach, Virginia (WAVY) – The Virginia Beach Historic House Foundation hosts a bonfire and brewery, also known as “History Happy Hour,” an evening of history, music, bonfires, and beer.
According to the City of Virginia Beach, the event will take place on Friday, October 15th, from 6pm to 10pm on the grounds of Lynn Haven House on 4409 Wishart Road, Virginia Beach.
Since 2013, the Virginia Beach Historic House Foundation has funded and promoted Virginia Beach’s history and historic relics.
This time, the Foundation sheds light on Lynn Haven House, one of Virginia’s oldest surviving colonial homes. According to the history of Virginia Beach Museum House Built by Francis Thelaball, it is nearly 300 years old.
Between the bonfire and brewing, the Lin Haven House is opened for visitors to adventure.
There are free activities overnight, but instead of admission, the city encourages participants to donate $ 5 to the Foundation.
Revenue further supports the Foundation’s mission of historic preservation, education, and promotion.
