Cleveland (WJW) – The holiday season is here. We’ve put together a list of events in northeastern Ohio, including Christmas lights, tree light ceremonies, holiday markets, and family favorites.

Cleveland Metro Parks Zoo Wild Winter Light
3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland
Please select a date from November 16th to January 2nd. Walkthrough tickets are $ 20 for non-members and $ 18 for members. Tickets are $ 60 per vehicle for non-members and $ 54 for members for drive-through.

Over a million lights and hundreds of light displays brighten the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Enjoy a walk with carousel rides, costume characters, ice sculptors and choirs. Drive-through dates are also available.

Hay candlelight tour holiday

Thursday, November 18th. General admission is $ 20.

The Cleveland History Center offers tours of the Hey McKinney Mansion and the Museum Gallery. Light meals will be provided.

Christmas connection

The holiday market is back with a 30-foot Santa, a children’s sugar plum shop, and dozens of vendors.

Christmas cave

Open Friday and Saturday, November 19th, from 4pm to 10pm. Admission is free, but please donate.

This self-guided 30-minute light display goes through an underground mine. Last year, more than 28,000 people visited.

The holiday experience begins at noon and leads to a performance by the iconic toy solidar and tree lighting with Santa.

Garden Holiday

From November 20th to January 2nd. Admission is $ 16 for adults and $ 12 for children aged 3 to 12 years.

Holiday transformations at the Cleveland Botanical Garden include conifers, poinsettias and gingerbread houses.

Kaiya Hoga County Fairgrounds transforms into a dazzling drive-through light experience with LEDs and digital animation.

Akron Zoo Wild Light

Select a date from 5 pm to 9 pm on November 26th. Tickets are $ 13 for adults and $ 9 for children ages 2-14. If you are a member of Akron Zoo, or if you have purchased a pre-sale ticket, the price will be cheaper.

Akron Zoo feels like a holiday with thousands of lights, dozens of displays and fun photography. There are also costumed characters and Santa!

Tickets are only available online and in advance from November 30th to December 22nd from 6pm to 8:30 pm. $ 27.50 per car road.

Lake Metro Parks Farm Park gets a festive image change. Enjoy a ride that takes 20-45 minutes from the comfort of your car.

When Chardon Square is lit up during the holiday season, there are bands, hot ciders, and even Santa on a horse-drawn sleigh.

Elf musical

From December 3rd to January 2nd. Tickets are $ 34 for adults and $ 12 for students with IDs.

Based on a popular Christmas movie, this musical brings the elf buddy to life while singing at the Beck Center for the Arts.

Nutcracker

December 3rd and December 4th. Tickets start at $ 25.

The Cleveland Ballet will play the Nutcracker at the Connor Palace in Playhouse Square. Only 5 performances.

The memorial to soldiers and sailors in Kaiyahoga County has a picture of Santa in the Civil War. You need to bring your own camera.
