Atlanta (CBS46) — Holiday shopping starts late at night, but finding the best deal depends on where you shop.
Black Friday is suitable for household items such as furniture and utensils. On Saturday, cyber shoppers will see more deals on electronics and appliances. Sunday is a great time for apparel and sporting goods, and Cyber Monday is a great time to buy a TV.
However, due to supply chain issues, waiting for Cyber Monday may not produce the desired results.
According to Adobe, cyber shoppers have a 250% increase in out-of-stock messages compared to pre-pandemic levels.
Security is also a top priority for shoppers, as pandemics continue and shopping destinations like Lenox Square are vulnerable to violence.
Simon Properties, which owns Lenox and Chipps, says it has 18 times more security guards than the city of Atlanta.
The company is also marketing off-hours security, license plate readers, and real-time monitored cameras as part of its multi-million dollar plan for a safer shopping experience.
Experts say that people trying to get a particular item should grab it now.
Experts also say that if you are flexible and generally looking for stuffing and household items, wait until the second half of December. They say that will improve sales.
