In a vote on Monday, members empowered their leadership in ongoing negotiations on working conditions, payments with the studio, and final authority in the event of a streaming service collapse in the coming days. Voting took place in 36 local unions representing about 60,000 workers. Almost 90% of the group voted for ballots and 98% voted for the strike approval.
