Wentlan, Dr. Joan Lee, CFA and Giovanni Coltab were selected after Tran and Coltab were selected as winners of the Homecoming 2021 royalties in a homecoming hockey match against Maine on October 8.

The University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) has done its utmost to celebrate its first fall return since 2019, attracting Maverick fans to athletic events and students to a variety of campus activities.

“Nothing is more exciting and exciting than a returning college campus,” said Dr. Joan Lee (CFA) of UNO. “I’m very excited that students, faculty, staff, graduates, and friends all over Omaha were able to experience the Mavericks Spirit during that special week. Even Mavericks enthusiasts. Even if you haven’t directly supported Mavericks, please join us to pack your stands at this season’s athletic event and show your school’s pride if you have the chance. “

Homecoming Week traditionally begins at the beginning of the hockey season. Due to COVID-19 precautions, the 2020 Homecoming Festival was postponed to January 2021 and featured physically separated activities.

This year, Homecoming is back on campus with activities featuring banner contests, headphone disco, dance marathon “MiniThon”, homecoming loyalty and more.

In true Maverick fashion, the UNO sports team dominated the homecoming week slate, with hockey, volleyball and women’s tennis winning each match.
