At least 350 people were vaccinated today at four mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics on the island, according to a report from the Honolulu Fire Department.

The State Department of Health asks HFD to activate an incident management team to implement and supervise four Mobile Vaccine Application Points (PODs) at Salt At Our Kakaako, Waipio Shopping Center, Kaiaka Bay Beach Park, and Windward Mall. Did.

HFD did a similar job in the 2020 coronavirus surge test.

Approximately 170 Pfizer shots were administered at Windward Mall, and approximately 60 shots were administered at Hourka Kaako’s SALT.

Nearly 90 and 40 shots of Pfizer, Johnson, and Janssen of Johnson were taken at Waipio Shopping Center and Kaiaka Bay Beach Park, respectively.

HFD has worked with DOH and other partners such as Queens Health System, Adventist Health Castle, and Foodland Pharmacy to provide shots to people over the age of 12 who want to get the vaccine near their home.

The mobile vaccination POD will return to the same location on June 19th for a second vaccination for those who received the Pfizer vaccine.
