Nashville, Tennessee (WTVF) — The school is just around the corner.
Five organizations have teamed up to attend a new semester event to help children with life-threatening medical conditions prepare. HopeKids, Vanderbilt Athletics, Thrivent Financial, Dino Stroll, Clark Photography.
On Sunday afternoon, I was able to find a family of 50 Hope Kids getting supplies for the new semester in the parking lot at Vanderbilt University’s McGugin Center.
The kids were able to work on some arts and crafts, go back to school to take pictures and dance with life-sized dinosaurs!
Leslie Murphy, Program Manager at Hope Kids in Central Tennessee, said:
The organizers hope that this event will help children start their school year with high praise.
To become Hopekid, a child between the ages of 0 and 18 must have cancer or a life-threatening medical condition.
