Kansas City, Missouri 2021-06-10 09:33:00 –
Kansas Fairway (KCTV)-Today’s story is hot and humid. After the first 90 degree day on Wednesday, this afternoon will be in the 90’s again.
The feel-like temperature peaks at about 96 degrees. It is cloudy in some places tonight, with a minimum temperature of around 72 degrees Celsius.
The cold front arrives on Friday. It doesn’t cool us much, but it seems to rain more than we saw at the beginning of the week.
It can rain early in the morning north of Kansas City. It seems that it is most likely to rain in the metro area late in the afternoon. Most of the rain should clear from the area by late evening, but some rain can remain until early Saturday morning. Storm forecasting centers include metropolitan areas as a small risk of heavy storms, as modern models tend to be rainy.
Most of the storms that occur are not serious, but some can produce harmful winds and heavy rains. For this reason, Friday is the day of the weather warning.
After Saturday morning, the rest of the weekend is dry and looks a bit cooler than the end of the week.
Another cold front may arrive on Tuesday. It doesn’t look like a rainmaker for now, but it could finally bring us back to normal at this time of the year.
