Nebraska storm clusters are tracking south and southeast. They will affect some of our counties north this morning, but will weaken as they track the area. The remaining shower may try to reach I-70 all the way to noon.
As it rains gradually, some clouds also filter the area, but today’s sky is mostly sunny to partially cloudy. Highs get hot back in the 90’s. Humidity is noticeable, but it remains subdued and is not squeezed.
Another possibility of tonight’s storm mainly affects the northern and western regions. This is an isolated opportunity, but it should be closely monitored as it can cause large hail and stronger storms that can damage the wind.
When the lows fall in the 1960s, most of us remain dry again.
Tuesday will soon heat up in the 90’s. Showers and storms can occur, but they remain unlikely.
Widespread three-digit highs from the late 90’s could result in some thermal alerts on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Keep in mind that it will get even hotter in the next few days. Keep hydrating, dress brightly, limit strenuous activity outside, and don’t forget about your pet.
The front will move by the weekend and will cool us a bit. The most reassuring is north of I-70, but from the late 80’s to the late 90’s, the higher the price, the warmer the season. The reception hangs out throughout the weekend and can cause some light rain and storms.
