‘House of Cards’ actor Kevin Spacey charged in UK with 4 counts of sexual assault – Fresno, California

London-British prosecutors said Thursday that they had charged actor Kevin Spacey with four charges of sexual assault against three men.

The prosecutor’s office said Spacey was “accused of involving a person in sexual activity without consent.”

The alleged case occurred in London between March 2005 and August 2008, and in April 2013 in western England.

Rosemary Ainsley, head of the service’s special crime department, said the allegations follow a review of evidence collected by the Metropolitan Police.

Spacey, a 62-year-old Double Academy Award winner, was questioned by British police in 2019 about several men’s allegations that he had attacked them.

The former “House of Cards” star ran the Old Vic Theater in London between 2004 and 2015.
