Ticketmaster is gearing up for what is expected to be a high demand for tickets to Beyoncé’s upcoming Renaissance World Tour. unsuccessful pre-sale Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour last year.
Beyoncé announced Wednesday that her first solo world tour since 2016 will begin in Stockholm, Sweden on May 10 and end in New Orleans on September 27. He will perform a song from his seventh studio album, Renaissance, which is vying for Album of the Year at Sunday’s Grammy Awards.
Ticketmaster said statement “Demand for this tour is expected to be high,” he said, adding that it plans to use its verified fan system again to prioritize tickets for people who have registered on the platform. It says it can “get more tickets into the hands of concertgoers,” “help filter out buyers who are considering reselling tickets,” and eliminate automated bots.

According to Ticketmaster, registration does not guarantee a ticket, and only verified fans who later receive a code through a raffle-style selection will be able to enter the sale on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of sale. Registration windows vary by city, and the company warns that “there will be more demand than available tickets.”

Ticketmaster and Live Nation did not immediately respond to a request for comment by CNBC on Thursday.
