Lancaster, Massachusetts. (WHDH)-The Lancaster female is still unbelievable, even after a giant ferocious raccoon attacks her in her yard while hanging Christmas lights.

“I really thought I was going to die,” said Donna Sanginario.

Sanginario said she was on the light when the 40-pound raccoon shattered the holiday cheers, jumped at her, and decided to hang on her arm with her chin.

“It looked at me and started jumping at me, so I put my hand on my face … we were both screaming incredibly loud,” Sanginario said. “He didn’t let go, he just put it on … I got this big one on my head, I said” Someone can help me! ” It was like. “

However, it took five minutes for the raccoon to escape and Sanginario to break his ribs and go to the hospital. She also said she needed a series of shots, including tetanus, because the raccoon was rampant.

However, despite her wounds, Sanginario eventually turned on her light. And the next time she goes out to the garden, she will be ready.

“I always have a bat or something here,” Sanginario said.
