The Horbaczewski family was infected with the coronavirus in December, but only Bob is still fighting. He has been on ventilator since Christmas.

“I feel his status changes every hour,” Monique said, adding that he was only allowed to communicate with Bob, who remained connected to the life-sustaining tube, via FaceTime. ..

“I promised I would never kiss or hug him again if he kept fighting and he passed through,” she said. “I feel helpless. I feel like I can’t help him.”

Monique also admitted that the idea of ​​losing Bob would change her family.

“I wish it was me. He’s a stronger parent. Just as our family would have been better if I were,” she crushed. “Everyone tells me to be positive. That’s great. Positive is great. But I’m trying to be realistic too.”

According to Monique, doctors said that Bob needed a lung transplant to survive, but needed to be stable enough for surgery.
