Las Vegas (KLAS) – Metro police are investigating a serious crash involving a baby on Saturday night.
Police answered a call for a vehicle-pedestrian collision at the intersection of Boulder Highway and Twain Avenue shortly after 8 pm.
Police said men and women pushing a baby stroller with a one-year-old baby tried to cross the Boulder Highway when they were attacked by a 2018 New Marbayster Sports RV and a 2017 Kia Optima.
The Kia driver did not stop because of a pedestrian who crossed and collided with a stroller and one of the adults. The stroller fell and kicked the baby out onto the road. A 19-year-old man was attacked by an RV while lying on the road.
Police say they were on a pedestrian crossing marked with a trio crossing the Boulder Highway near Twain Avenue.
The baby was taken to a children’s hospital in a university medical center in crisis.Adult male pedestrians were taken to the Trauma Unit at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in crisis
The 20-year-old woman was not injured in a collision and no injuries were reported in the vehicle.
Driver failure was not the cause of the collision. The clash remains under investigation by the Clash Investigation Section of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
